Broad Thinking Conference

June 4, 2010. The Femme Den and invited guests dive into what makes women and men wonderfully different and how we can use these differences to positively change our world by design.

The gender topic has long been missing from the design conversation. Genuine differences between men and women are misunderstood and often missaplied in products and services aimed at women.

Femme Den hosts an intimate, half-day ’mindshare’ with invited experts on June 4th at the Smart Design NY office. We discuss the issues surrounding design and gender in order to explore how our sex impacts our daily lives, how to implement a new understanding of gender in the design process, and how to plant seeds in our communities that foster a bold, authentic understanding of what women want.
